Northumbria University invites applicants wishing to complete PhD dissertations relating to African-American political, social, or cultural activism in the post-1945 period and/or the history and cultures of the modern (post-1900) US South. It is particularly interested in projects that propose to adopt inter- or multi-disciplinary approaches. Further information can be found here:
