The University of West England is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in English Literature to deliver teaching and learning to support the overall delivery of English literature modules in order to achieve outstanding learning outcomes for our students. Modules may include Imagining America: Cultural and Literary Legacies of the United States, 1830-1970, Literature and Ideas, Forms of Reading/Reading Forms and English Independent Project. To engage in research and/or scholarly/professional activity to enhance and inform the teaching design, delivery and curriculum development.
You will be qualified to PhD level in English Literature or American Literature or a closely-related discipline, have evidence of continuing professional development and possess sufficient breath and/or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within the established teaching programme, ideally with a specialism in American literature.
This post is part time working 0.7FTE.
