Institute for Historical Research Iwan Morgan Lecture Prize

The convenors of the North American seminar at the Institute of Historical Research, London, are accepting applications for the Iwan Morgan Lecture Prize, offered to a current or recently-completed doctoral student working on any aspect of North American history. The winner will receive a small book grant to support their studies and will deliver the Iwan Morgan Lecture, which will be held on 16 June 2016 as the final event in the North American History seminar programme.

The competition is open to doctoral students studying at all UK institutions, however preference may be given to regular attendees of the seminar.

To apply: please send a two-page lecture proposal to the Chair of Convenors, Alex Goodall (alex.goodall@ucl.ac.uk), by Friday 18 December 2015.
