American Studies in Britain is the blog and newsletter of the British Association for American Studies.

In June 2015 American Studies In Britain is re-launching as a blog on the BAAS website, accompanied by a quarterly email newsletter to members. These newsletters will be archived on the BAAS website and in hard copy at the BAAS archives.

American Studies in Britain aims to promote and circulate the research and activities of BAAS and its members in a dynamic and accessible online format. We welcome 500-600 word conference and travel reports, interviews, short articles and announcements for inclusion in the ASIB blog and newsletter by BAAS members. ASIB will also be the primary platform for digests of Journal of American Studies and U.S. Studies Online, announcements and reports by the Eccles Centre, and communications by the executive committee of BAAS Submissions can be sent to the editor Michelle Green at Michelle.Green[at]baas.ac.uk.

Previously, ASIB took the form of a twice yearly newsletter. Old editions of ASIB are archived below.
