Overseas Student Bursaries to study at the Institute for the Study of the Americas, University of London, UK

Applications are invited from well-qualified candidates for admission to one of the following master’s degrees, all of which are undertaken in one year full-time:

The Institute is offering a number of bursaries of £2,000 each to support overseas students to study at the Institute from October 2010.

The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence as demonstrated in the application and judged by the Institute admissions committee.

The bursaries will take the form of a reduction in the overseas student fee payable. Applicants who are not required to pay overseas fees are not eligible for this bursary. For other funding opportunities, please see www.americas.sas.ac.uk/postgraduate_study/grants.htm.

There is no separate application form for the Overseas Student Bursary – all eligible applicants for an Institute master’s degree programme will be considered for the award. However, only applicants who have been offered a place at the Institute, and who have accepted their offer by 30 June 2010, will be considered for the Overseas Student Bursary. Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of July 2010.
